UW Platteville Visit. Eight students from Morrison Institute of Technology recently visited the University of Wisconsin-Platteville to learn about opportunities to earn a bachelor’s degree. Some students choose the university to continue their education after graduating from Morrison Tech’s two-year program in engineering technology or network administration.

University staff members joined the Morrison group during the campus visit.

“Each year 25% of our students go on to a four-year university,” said Jim Prombo, career placement coordinator at Morrison Tech.

In addition to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, the college has articulation agreements with several other universities, including Western Illinois University, Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Illinois State University, Bradley University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Governors State University and St. Ambrose University.

These agreements make it easier to transfer to a four-year institution after earning a Morrison Tech associate in applied science degree.
