Morrison Tech Announces Fifty for 50 Scholarship Campaign
Morrison Tech President Christopher Scott has unveiled a fundraising campaign to ensure that every Morrison Tech student who is in need of a scholarship, receives a scholarship.
This will be the first campaign strictly for scholarships that the College has established throughout its history and will coincide with the 50 year celebration of Morrison Institute of Technology. The Fifty for 50 Scholarship Campaign will be a year-long campaign seeking to raise $50,000 in honor of this exciting milestone.
“Our goal is to do our best to make sure financial constraints never prevent potential students from experiencing this life-changing education,” says Scott. “Regardless of a student’s financial background we must keep this priceless education affordable. I challenge all to make a donation in the form of a “5”. Even $5 when combined with the generosity of others, can make an impact on a student’s life.”
“By investing in this effort, you will not only change a student’s life,” Jodie Eaker, VP of Admissions said. “But you’ll also change the world around us. When the graduate walks through our doors into the world I feel confident to say that the education they bring with them will not stop at changing only their lives. The impact is felt worldwide.”
“This is an exciting time for Morrison, celebrating our 50 year anniversary under the Morrison Institute of Technology name. The college originated under the name Institute of Drafting and Technology.” says Scott Connelly, VP of Academics and Career Placement. “Every gift of every size has a role to play. I invite everyone to play a role in changing our students’ lives- together we can all make a difference.
