Morrison Tech is proud of our programs and graduates, we strive to personally assist each of our students in finding the right career and internship opportunities while completing their degrees and throughout their careers.
Student Recreation Center
The Barn (as it has been nicknamed), is a great place to relax and unwind. There are plenty of things to do including: pool, darts, air hockey, and more. It is also a great place to watch a movie, do your laundry, or work out.
Housing
On-campus student housing is available in Odey Residence Hall. This 34-apartment-style residence accommodates up to 132 students and offers comfortable, independant-style living. Each unit includes a private bathroom with shower, a kitchenette, a living area, and two bedrooms.
On Campus Employment
Qualifying students can apply for a wide variety of on campus jobs like: Resident Adviser, computer lab supervisor and campus maintenance to name a few.
Tutoring
Morrison Tech provides a free of charge peer tutoring service for any of our students that are in need of additional assistance in any of their coursework.
Other Amenities
On campus laundry and workout facilities are available in the Student Recreation Center. Get a workout or play a game of pool while you wait for your laundry!
Clubs and Organziations
Maker Club
Maker Club gives students an opportunity to turn their ideas into reality. Do you have an idea or project you would like to work on that doesn't fit into a class? Maker Club gives all students, regardless of their major, a place to work on anything they can dream up. With access to the prototype lab and help from instructors and other students anything is possible.
SME Organization
Morrison Tech Society of Manufacturing Engineers (or SME) Club is the largest student chapter of The SME in the area. This club provides a great opportunity to meet potential employers and to network with those already employed in the field.
Student Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors are more than likely the first person you will meet when you step on campus. Ambassadors are focused on their individual success as well as the success of the college. Additionally, not only does the Student Ambassador program help you develop professional skills and communication skills, it’s also a ton of fun.
Student Government
Student Government is a great way to be involved at Morrison Tech and to broaden your leadership skills. Student Government may also organize student activities.
Construction Club
Students participate in various projects throughout the year volunteering in the community and assist with campus improvement projects.
Programming Club
Computers are truly amazing machines. In their infancy they helped us reach the moon. They continue to invade the world around us and as the Internet of Things (IoT) becomes a reality it is hard to remember that without the supporting software, code and programs computers would less than useful…
