Morrison Tech is proud of our programs and graduates, we strive to personally assist each of our students in finding the right career and internship opportunities while completing their degrees and throughout their careers.
The Barn (as it has been nicknamed), is a great place to relax and unwind. There are plenty of things to do including: pool, darts, air hockey, and more. It is also a great place to watch a movie, do your laudatory, or work out.
Student housing facilities are available on campus in Odey Resident Hall. The 34-apartment building, with a capacity of up to 132 students. Each room has a bathroom with shower, kitchenette, living area and two bedroom areas
Clubs and Organziations
Maker Club gives students an opportunity to turn their ideas into reality. Do you have an idea or project you would like to work on that doesn't fit into a class? Maker Club gives all students, regardless of their major, a place to work on anything they can dream up. With access to the prototype lab and help from instructors and other students anything is possible.
Morrison Tech Society of Manufacturing Engineers (or SME) Club is the largest student chapter of The SME in the area. This club provides a great opportunity to meet potential employers and to network with those already employed in the field. S.M.E. meets once a month and is governed by student elected officers. They also organize several student activities throughout the year.
Student Ambassadors are more than likely the first person you will meet when you step on campus. Ambassadors are focused on their individual success as well as the success of the college. Additionally, not only does the Student Ambassador program help you develop professional skills and communication skills, it’s also a ton of fun.
Student Government is a great way to be involved at Morrison Tech and to broaden your leadership skills. This group meets twice a month and is overseen by student elected officers. Student Government also organizes many student activities.
Students participate in various projects throughout the year volunteering in the community and assist with campus improvement projects. Recently they have participated in constructing a Habitat for Humanity home. The club meets every two weeks and is governed by student elected officers.
Computers are truly amazing machines. In their infancy they helped us reach the moon. They continue to invade the world around us and as the Internet of Things (IoT) becomes a reality it is hard to remember that without the supporting software, code and programs computers would less than useful…
