Morrison Tech is proud to announce the Bes-Wick Morrison Tech Construction/Technology Scholarship, generously sponsored by Bes-Wick Home Builders. These scholarships were established to support local students who are pursuing careers in construction and technical fields—industries essential to our region’s growth and success.
Through this partnership, Bes-Wick Home Builders and Morrison Tech are working together to invest in the next generation of skilled professionals and community leaders.
Scholarship Opportunities
Construction Concentration Scholarship
This scholarship is for students focused on a future in the construction industry.
Eligibility:
- Must be enrolled or accepted into Morrison Tech’s Construction Technology program
- Minimum 2.25 GPA (high school or college)
- Submit a short essay (300–500 words) explaining:
- Why you chose a career in construction
- How this scholarship will help you reach your goals
- Optional: Letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, or mentor
Local Student Scholarship
This award supports Morrison-area students pursuing any program at Morrison Tech.
Eligibility:
- Must be a resident of Morrison, IL or a graduate of Morrison High School
- Must be enrolled or accepted into any program at Morrison Tech
- Minimum 2.25 GPA (high school or college)
- Submit a short essay (300–500 words) explaining:
- Why you chose to attend Morrison Tech
- How your education will benefit your career or the local community
- Additional consideration may be given for community service, extracurriculars, or part-time work experience
Scholarship Details
- Award Amounts: Determined annually by Bes-Wick Home Builders
- Duration: Scholarships are awarded for one academic year; students may reapply each year
- Application Deadline: July 1
