Seventh graders from Morrison Junior High School learned about different aspects of engineering technology today at Morrison Tech Engineering Tech Day.
The group of nearly 100 students was the largest to participate in one of Morrison Tech’s Technology Days during the 2016-17 academic year. Five groups have already attended and another four are scheduled within the next month. In all, about 460 students are expected to attend the sessions to learn more about engineering tech.
During Technology Days, Morrison Tech students assist faculty members in presenting five or six different hands-on sessions to the junior high students.
The event starts with an introduction, followed by morning and afternoon breakout sessions, lunch and a concluding session.
Area seventh grade teachers interested in having their students participate in one of the Technology Days during the 2017-18 academic year, should contact Larry Libberton, firstname.lastname@example.org.
