The Student Recreation Center, more commonly referred to as "The Barn" is located on the college campus.  The term "Barn" originated from the fact that part of this structure was at one time a barn that was located on the college property.  It was converted to a student recreation center  and was thus called "The Barn" by former students.

 
This facility provides the students a place to go and relax, get a snack, refreshments, play pool, electronic darts, foosball, air hockey, card games, chess, watch TV, work out in the nautilus and aerobics room, do laundry or just relax with friends.  The Center's hours are posted at the Recreation Center. 

 Recreation Center provides a TV lounge with tables and booths.  Cable TV is provided along with VCR player.  

The weight and aerobics area has 12 Nautilus training stations along with treadmill and cycle.  Additional equipment is planned for the future.  The room is air conditioned and contains an air circulation system to vent in outside air which is pre-conditioned to match the air temperature in the room.  Four TV's are also located in the room.

Laundromat facilities are provided for students residing in the college resident facility which is located adjacent to the Student Recreation complex.  It has six washers and six dryers along with a folding area for student convenience.  The facility is open seven days a week from 8:00 am until 10:00pm.

A snack bar area with vending machines is part of the Recreation Center Complex providing snacks, candy, pop, coffee, hot chocolate and ex-presso.  From time to time, free noon meals are provided by student organizations or staff such as: taco bar, hamburgers & hot dogs, pork chop sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches all with side dishes.
