Student Employment Services

Student Part Time Employment

Students desiring part time employment should check with the college's business office to place their name on the part time employment list.  The student may also check the student information board located in the A. E. Rambo Center for local community part time jobs.

College Work Study (CWS)

Federal College Work-Study (FCWS) is designed to help defray indirect educational college expenses.  Students must first apply for financial aid to demonstrate financial need.  A limited number of jobs are available on campus.  In addition there are a limited number of community service opportunities available for eligible students attending the college.  Jobs will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis, and demonstrated need.  If a student is interested he or she should contact the financial aid office located in the Administration wing of Technical Center.   Students may also check the student announcement board located in the main lobby of the A. E. Rambo Center.

Graduate Career Placement Services

Job InterviewEmployment guidance is furnished by the college to aid graduating students and alumni in acquiring suitable job placement.  Interviews are conducted both on and off campus and are open to all students who are in their final semester and to alumni.  Although the college provides placement assistance there is no guarantee of employment.  Students will learn more about the services in their job search class where they will learn to write resumes, write letters of inquiry and acceptance and conduct themselves in an interview.
