Rapid Prototype and Molding Lab

Our Rapid Prototype lab houses a variety of equipment that can be used to create a physical model from a CAD design. From 3D printing to CNC machining we have the ability to create prototypes that can be used to help students prove out their designs. This room also houses equipment used to demonstrate various production methods that are used by industry to mass produce parts.

Prototyping Equipment includes:  Z Corp ZPrinter 350, Town Labs CNC 4 axis Mill, Roland CNC Mill. Production Methods Equipment includes: injection molding press, rotational molder, Blow molder, vacuum former, foundry and sand casting equipment.
